Located in the heart of Back Bay, the Christian Science Plaza is home to The First Church of Christ, Scientist (The Mother Church), The Christian Science Publishing Society, The Mary Baker Eddy Library, and the new interactive experience, How Do You See the World?. You’ll also find the Reflecting Pool and the Children’s Fountain.
The Plaza is always open to the public. We offer group tours of How Do You See the World? and The Mother Church.
How Do You See the World? explores stories about global progress—how individuals worldwide have overcome challenges and found hope. The space encourages you to reflect on this question while exploring the interactive exhibits, including the iconic Mapparium™ globe.
The Mother Church is a Boston landmark, containing one of the world’s largest pipe organs—a site worth seeing.

Group Rates:
Tickets are required to view the Mapparium globe. All other exhibits in How Do You See the World? are free to the public.

Youth (ages 0–17): Free
Church tours are also free to the public.
Chaperone Policy: We admit one chaperone for free per five youth.
Length of Visit: 40 minutes–2 hours
